The garden is lovely, full of flowers, with a wonderful view over Urbino, and the birdsong means you hardly need music. Urbino is only about a five-minute drive away, and there are great walks and sights nearby. The Palazzo dates back to the 15th century, but has modern comforts and stylish furnishings. Alessandra was cheerful and caring, and made us feel at home. Breakfast had traditional Italian treats, local fruit and pastries, with a continental option too. Such a romantic spot close to nature and historic towns.

We really enjoyed the old house, the comfortable room, and the lovely hosts. Our bathroom was separate from the room, but that wasn't a problem given how exceptional everything else was. We also loved their little dog. Thanks, Francesca and Jimmy.

Breakfast was homemade each morning, and Alessandra was very accommodating. She was a great host, and the views were amazing. We had a great stay.

The hostess was charming and efficient, and the house itself is stunning. Everything we needed was there, and the breakfast was more than generous.

Alessandra was so kind and helpful that we felt welcome right away. We spent two nights here with two friends and all of us were very happy with the stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of sweet and savory choices, and there is parking on site. The clean, spacious rooms have a slightly retro feel that makes them romantic. The house is a thoughtfully furnished 16th-century country home turned B&B. Its bathrooms are the one drawback, though understandable in a historic building where the original walls can't be changed; they seem to have been fitted wherever space allowed. Apart from that, we were all very satisfied and would recommend it.
