The pasta and main courses were good, but the sliced-meat starter and desserts were nothing special. The portions were very, very small. And a complaint first: you can't charge 30 euros across the board without saying or writing so beforehand.

We were glad to finally find an agriturismo that feels true to its roots, with sincere people and products to match. The homemade tagliatelle and gnocchi with ragù were lovely, as were the roast goose and pork shank. The price felt like it belonged to another time. Thanks to the whole staff, and highly recommended if you miss the simple side of food and hospitality.

For €20 each, our lunch included carafes of wine and water, a taste of the house amaro, homemade desserts, roast pork ham, and tagliatelle with goose ragù, after a generous plate of cured meats. It was all delicious and made with homemade products. We were five friends and had given just 15 minutes' notice, yet the owners welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. After lunch, we got to see the animals they raise with care and respect. The place has a strong sense of tradition, with animals valued as companions as well as a source of food. They use their own produce, with no frozen or store-bought meat, so it's best to book ahead and ask about the menu. There are rooms if you'd like to stay in this bucolic setting, and plenty of walks and excursions nearby.

Peace and simplicity are what you come here for. Nerone and Snoopy, two lovely dogs, greet you affectionately, and the warm bedrooms fit the setting. The owners are so friendly. The outside could be kept up a little better, but it's fine. A good place for genuine people.
