The WiFi worked, and they also have scooters for rent. The owner is a really nice, hardworking guy who goes out of his way to help you during your stay. I arrived worn out from travelling and found it a great place to relax. I also missed the fact that the mini shops shut at 1:30 on Sundays, so plan for that if you're on the island then.

Angelo, Tanina, Salvo, and Matteo are the reason you feel at home here. They're professional and so kind, and Angelo can pick you up from the port by shuttle, so getting around is no problem. The attached restaurant serves excellent food, with care in every detail. Hotel Ariston is family-run and has a gorgeous terrace over the sea. If you're after a truly relaxing holiday, I can't imagine a better place. Highly recommended.

They even sorted out the air conditioning when it wasn't working. The hotel is in a great location, with scooter rentals available, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Rooms are simple and clean, with all the amenities you need. Highly recommended.

Breakfast on the panoramic terrace was lovely, and the rooms, though simple, were comfortable. My wife and I spent eight nights at the Ariston in August, and Angelo and his family were so kind and helpful throughout. The hotel's in a strategic spot. We travel often and recommend the Ariston. Ustica itself is beautiful, a perfect place to unwind surrounded by nature. It's a real gem for us, and we've fallen in love with it.
