Hotel Clelia

Breakfast had loads of variety and was amazing, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. We came to Ustica as a group of 17, and the Hotel Clelia staff kindly picked us up from the ferry and drove us over. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive. They were also very accommodating with our diving gear, letting us rinse and dry it. Thanks for a wonderful 7 nights at your hotel.

I couldn't get a coffee at the hotel, though Bar Centrale is just around the corner and highly recommended. The noise from the nearby village square went on until 4am, so anyone hoping for peace and quiet on this stunning island might want to stay somewhere else. I was there out of season, when the main building with reception was closed. I don't know whether they have nicer rooms with less worn furniture. Mine was very average: a large sink and shelf in the bathroom, but a shower cubicle so narrow it was uncomfortable even for someone 170cm/60kg, and the towels were old and tattered. I don't know where the very good Booking.com ratings come from, but my stay was not "fabulous".

Fabio and the team were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were really friendly. Hotel Celia was just right for our stay on Ustica, close to the main square but still quiet. We'll definitely be back.

The room stayed very warm, even with the AC running, which was the only downside for me. Otherwise, it was such a lovely place to stay, with excellent hospitality. They met me at the ferry and drove me and my bags to the hotel. The distance is short, but the walk is very steep. After a day scuba diving, they kindly let me use my room again to shower and rest.
