Hotel Restaurant Diana

We really appreciated how little mass tourism there is on the island. It was peaceful, the food was good, and the whole property and its lush surroundings were exceptionally beautiful, with a fantastic sea view. The hosts were friendly and patient, too. We also made good use of the easy, affordable e-bike rentals to explore the island. The pool area was another highlight. Thanks to everyone there for making our holiday unforgettable.

The staff were incredibly kind and dedicated, and Giovanni always made us feel at ease and in tune with the island. Thank you to him and the team for a wonderful memory of such a peaceful, unspoiled island. The hotel's in an extraordinary location, with a beautiful pool. It's a little outside the port, but you can request a shuttle for a very reasonable price.

We loved how easy it was to get around. The manager, Giovanni, is very welcoming and friendly, and will take you into town or elsewhere for just 2 euros per person. From the hotel you can swim in the sea by going down the steps, rent bicycles for less than in town, or follow the coastal path below. There's plenty to do nearby, whether you want to explore or dive. We stayed four days at Hotel Diana. It's one of Ustica's most charming, authentic places, with a wonderful panorama. The pool is great for cooling off after a day out. Breakfast and the other meals were good, with Sicilian specialties on the menu. Ustica itself is a Sicilian gem where time seems to stand still.

A hotel in the middle of nowhere with no Wi-Fi at all, like something from the Stone Age. We were disconnected from the world. There was a bad smell, and the rooms had strange mitotic insects, so we should have brought DDT. They don't provide free towels or free bottles of water. Shameful.
