Bad Bergfallerhof

The weak WiFi and mobile reception meant I gave up on working and had a proper holiday instead. The apartments are a great base, along the route to Lake Braies and the top of Kronplatz, with Valdaora reachable on foot or just a five-minute drive away. Christine was very helpful, and the apartment had everything we needed. We loved the balcony view, plus the cows would come over while we sat outside. After five days I felt quite refreshed and hope to return. One small drawback: bathroom soundproofing is poor, so you may hear more of your neighbours than you'd like.

Breakfast on the sunny balcony was a particular treat. The hosts were friendly, and everything about our stay felt pleasant and peaceful.

The river was the only sound around this peaceful place, tucked among mountains and woods. The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed, and we slept beautifully. It took about ten minutes by car to reach central Valdaora; the narrow road was easy enough to drive, and the views across the village were lovely. Once there, the panorama felt romantic and incredibly calm. It's also well placed for getting around the Pusteria Valley. Christine and her son Fabien were lovely and always available, and made me feel at home. Thanks, Christine, for a fantastic week. I hope to come back and see you soon.
