Hotel Olaga

My motorcycle broke down during an Alps trip, and I wound up at this hotel. Even though it was Italy’s busiest week of summer, everyone went out of their way to help. Huge thanks to them. I’d recommend the place to anyone, many times over.

The breakfast buffet was great, and dinner was even more impressive, with an amazing menu. The interior design is lovely, and the rooms feel really cozy. The view was okay.

We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels while traveling, but Hotel Olaga really impressed us. From breakfast through dinner, the food is based on regional organic products, and the cuisine left us wanting nothing. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, and the whole place has a peaceful, harmonious feel. It’s spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern, and held to a very high standard. The value for money is excellent too. Anyone who hasn’t stayed here is missing a lovely experience. We had nothing to complain about.

We booked six rooms for our family, ranging in age from 4 to over 60, with skiers and snowboarders in the group. We travel a lot, and Hotel Olaga is easy to recommend. It’s in the center of Mittelolang, with a café and supermarket just across the street and the ski bus stopping nearby. The hosts were warm, and the team was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs, scrambled or boiled. Dinner was a varied five-course menu, chosen in the morning. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean, and the spa area was thoughtfully laid out. We visited in the first week of February 2026, just before the Olympics. It’s a great base for winter sports in one of the most beautiful areas, and for summer hiking too. 😉
