Residence Bacher

For the price, this aparthotel offers good value. The rooms are fairly spacious and have the basics, including a kitchen, bathroom, and balcony, though they’re a little dated. Check-in is at Hotel Mirabell in Olang, about a 10-minute walk away. Guests can’t use the hotel’s amenities, which is understandable. Our apartment wasn’t especially clean when we arrived, so I’ve deducted a point.

The apartment is in a central spot in Olang, and the room was roomy with furnishings that were a little old but still fine. The cleaning was a letdown, though. The bathroom, especially the toilet, was so dirty that we had to clean it ourselves, and the kitchen cutlery wasn't clean either. There was no dish soap or anything like it for washing up.

Everything was easy to reach from this convenient location, but sleeping was a struggle the whole stay. The bed was extremely hard, the closet was dusty, and I only had one pillow with very little filling. I woke up in pain every morning. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

The apartment is right in the heart of Valdaora, close to the main amenities, and the rooms were clean. I liked the balcony, though the carpet was a bit worn. Downstairs there's a bar and pastry shop, but it's closed on Thursdays. Check-in and check-out at Hotel Mirabella were terrible, so remember to ask for the transport card. Mrs. Debora was courteous, though, and deserves credit for that.
