We only stayed one night in July 2023, but as a couple we couldn’t have picked better. Everything smelled lovely, even the very clean room, and the owner was so kind. We had some great conversations. It’s definitely secluded, which is exactly what makes it relaxing. A lovely spot for nature and all the little details.
We had to leave before trying the breakfast, though it was available. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and spoke English too. They even helped me find a dentist during the holiday season and suggested a good restaurant. I really liked the terrace, with all its flowers, birds, and fish. The rooms were nice as well.
We booked two nights through Smartbox and found a rustic, characterful B&B. The owner and her husband made us feel at home, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. For the price, it was one of the best stays we’ve had lately.
We were exhausted by the time we finally found the hotel late at night. GPS couldn’t get us there, and looking for it ate up a lot of time. The room was a letdown, especially the tiny shower, where it was hard to wash properly. We decided to leave straight away. I’m very disappointed and can’t recommend this place.
The last bit of road up to the hotel is unpaved, though easy enough to drive on, so watch for that at the entrance. The setting in nature is beautiful. We were there for one work night, and the service was good despite our awkward hours. The thick walls made the room feel a little claustrophobic, but it was still perfectly acceptable. The small animals by the entrance were cute, and watching Channel 5 on a CRT was a throwback.
