The owner was kind, but overall I was shocked that an apartment in this condition could be rented on booking, or even be legal. The place stinks, and the beds weren’t tidy when we arrived. There were fresh sheets, but that was all. The blankets were dirty and covered in someone’s hair. The floors were dirty too. There’s a “stove” with a chimney running through one bedroom, and the installation looks visibly unprofessional. One bedroom had three plugs, and none worked as they should: plastic was stuck in one, while two others were broken with wires visible. Sparks could be seen and heard when they were moved. There were only about three glasses in the kitchen, and the owner barely spoke any English.

A quiet location, a friendly owner and a very nice, fully equipped apartment. I can definitely recommend it.

The only thing in its favour was the price, which still didn’t make up for how disgusting the apartment was. The rooms and closets smelled old, and there was a stench coming from the ground floor, where the landlord had an “office” on the mezzanine. From the terrace, the lake view was bad. The apartment was dirty, with dust that looked like it hadn’t been wiped for months. Sheet covers cost extra, and the ones provided were wrinkled and looked used. The kitchen had no ladle or cooking utensils. Outside the front of the building there was junk, a pile of cut concrete and the landlord’s old shed.

The apartment was dirty, neglected and not welcoming at all. The listing photos don’t show what it’s actually like, and I found the owner dishonest. I strongly advise against staying here.
