The risotto takes more than 20 minutes because it’s cooked fresh when you order, so keep that in mind. I’m especially fond of the zucchini flower, persico, and porcini mushroom versions. The portions and menu work well for kids, big groups, or a Sunday family lunch, with plenty of other main courses too. There’s a nice wine selection, and the service has that traditional, old-fashioned feel. I keep coming back because the quality stays steady, and the risotto is the best I’ve ever had.

A family-run place with friendly service and fair prices. The local dishes are good quality too, though the risotto is the standout: creamy, rich, and delicious. There are probably more risotto styles to choose from than anywhere else around here, and it’s consistently good.

The staff are friendly and professional without hovering, and they brought a small starter before my meal. I had the fish risotto on Saturday, which was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The portions are generous: I skipped the three-risotto tasting menu because I was by myself and thought it would be too much. The menu says risotto is for at least two people, but they let me order one portion. I also had a glass of white wine, which didn’t impress me much. I’ve been twice, both times for lunch. On my first visit, a weekday, I chose the fixed-price lunch menu. Service can take a while since the risotto is made fresh. It’s a popular restaurant around here, so give it a try if you’re nearby.
