Maggie e Moka The sound of the stream over the stones, the trees, and a patch of sky make this little village feel wonderfully in tune with nature. Being so close to Lake Garda is a lovely bonus. Vallio Terme’s thermal treatments are another highlight, with waters said to heal and restore your health. The place itself is magnificent, with excellent hospitality and organization, and a genuinely professional welcome.

You can hear the nearby spring, and that’s about it. This B&B is tucked into greenery and mountain quiet, a lovely escape from the city’s bustle.

The mountain ride Nerina and her brother planned for us, with all those hairpin turns and breathtaking views on the way to the lake, was a blast. I’m not much of a motorcycle enthusiast like my husband, but their tips made it so much fun. They took wonderful care of us and gave us a warm welcome. The owners should hold on to that friendly, family-like atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back with our children, who’ll have all the fun and freedom they need in the mountains.
