The owner was really friendly, and our room was clean and tidy. It’s in a handy spot for a stopover, with a great train service into Milan.

The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well. The owner was kind too. The apartment was spacious and very clean, though there were only the basic dishes and one towel each. After 10 PM the radiators were cold and we put our jackets on, but they came on again later that night. I’d also understood from the website that breakfast was included, but it cost €8 per person, so I think that should be made clear.

For €80 per person each night, I expected more. There wasn’t even breakfast, and after a long flight I had to go to the supermarket just to buy a bottle of water because there was nowhere nearby to get one. The towels felt like cardboard. The service really needs improvement.

I was there for a three-day holiday, and it wasn’t a good experience. We got no breakfast or room cleaning, and they didn’t even make the bed. Hard to call it a B&B when that sign was hanging outside.
