Chalet Rosa dei Monti

The room was spotless, fresh-smelling, looked after, and, most of all, peaceful, with a nice view. The welcome for our dogs was just as warm as ours, which you can't always count on. Gilberto and his team were so kind and helpful, and did their best to meet every request. We loved the mushroom risotto and the braised beef with polenta. Set in Gran Paradiso National Park, the chalet is a lovely spot for anyone after nature and quiet. We'll happily come back. Cinzia and Lucia

Those terraces were my favorite part, both the shared one and our private terrace facing the woods, though I think they could be developed a bit more. The place is ideal if you want peace and quiet. We were there for the May 1st long weekend, and found the room roomy, clean, and cozy. The owner and staff were all friendly, kind, and helpful, and the food was excellent.

The owner's attentive, friendly manner went so well with the excellent cooking. This rustic, welcoming chalet made it easy to step away from the daily rush and be out in nature. It was a really comfortable stay. We'll certainly come back, and I highly recommend it!

The food was excellent and there was plenty of it, especially the wonderful ragù and braised meat. We thought the prices made sense for the setting and ingredient quality. We stayed January 16th to 19th with our two little kids, and the manager was kind and helpful from booking right through goodbye, doing his best to meet every request. Having dinner ready at 7 pm for the children was priceless. The location is lovely, and having a ski lift, baby slope, and bobsled run right next door was really handy for us. The rooms were spacious and clean, though with two kids crawling under the bed, you can never clean enough. It was warm the first night, then the temperature was adjusted perfectly. We'll definitely be back, hopefully soon!
