The young woman who served us was lovely and brightened the place. The restaurant, though, deserves no stars. I ordered the cheese omelette with salad for €17, and it was awful. The salad was just bagged leaves tossed in a bowl; the omelette tasted bland and bad, and clearly wasn't fresh. It seemed to come from the freezer, then had been microwaved. It arrived within five minutes, cold, and when I asked for a hot one they reheated it in the microwave. If they can't be bothered to make an omelette fresh with a couple of eggs and local cheese, why run a restaurant?

Booking was easy, and the rooms were really comfortable, with a priceless view. There was plenty of food to fuel our hike, and the prices felt relatively cheap compared with other places.

The campsite is next to the river, whose steady sound makes it easy to sleep and masks other background noise. It's also beside the road to the end of the valley, though you hardly hear the traffic. There's a good amount of privacy if you want it, and the location is very good. Prices are quite low. The sanitary facilities are clean, but very outdated. We'd probably stay here again next time we visit Valle d’Aosta.

A small, quiet campsite with soft ground for pitching a tent and really hot water. It was 25€ for two people, a reasonable price, and the staff knew English.

The room was clean and nice, and the location was great. But the proprietor was extremely unfriendly and made me feel like an unwelcome burden even though I was paying to stay there. I won't return. I'd tell others to pay a few euros extra and choose another nearby hotel.
