We loved being able to relax around the house, take in the scenery, or walk to San Pietro and the river Vara for a swim on a hot day. It's also a handy base for the coast: we drove to sestri levante in about 30-40 minutes, and for cinque terre, park in Levanto and set off early. Patrik is a great host, full of information about the area, its history, and the building. He's renovated the old house beautifully while keeping its original details, and you can feel how much care he's put into it. Breakfast is entirely organic, with Patrik and his wife Francesca making most of the ingredients themselves, including the honey. The focaccia and pies were outstanding. We've never had an Italian breakfast quite like it. We'd definitely come back. Thank you, Patrik and Francesca!

The old house at Trasea was my favorite part, with its original art, high ceilings, and marble and wood floors. It has so much character. The peaceful setting made for great sleep, and at night you can actually see the stars twinkling. Patric was the friendliest host I've ever met and gave us great tips for getting the most out of Cinque Terre and Sestre Levant. Every day there were fresh baked organic cakes and focaccia for breakfast, which made me feel spoiled. A 5-10 minute walk gets you to a little river for swimming and a great little pizzeria for lunch or dinner. There are lots of attractions nearby, without the usual crowds of tourists. A hidden gem, highly recommend it. I'll be back on my next holiday!

More than just somewhere to sleep, this is a window into a healthy, hardworking Ligurian way of life. The early 20th-century farmhouse sits in greenery, and Patric and Francesca are what make it special, with their warmth, care, and kindness. Breakfast is delicious, made with organic local products and real attention to quality, from the milk and coffee to the cakes and focaccias. A feast for the eyes and the soul.

The owners are lovely and can point you toward everything you need to know in the area, including where to find excellent local food that's well priced and plentiful. The place itself is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Mornings start with the rooster crowing, then a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes and really tasty focaccia.
