The artichoke risotto and porcini mushroom pappardelle were especially delicious and beautifully prepared. There was an impressive range of vegetarian choices, and the staff were courteous, professional, and attentive. It was an exceptional meal from beginning to end. I’d certainly return next time I’m in Varese. Thank you so much! 💫

We’ve enjoyed dinner here on the couple of occasions we’ve eaten at the hotel. The breakfast included with our booking had lots of options, and everything we tried was good. It’s a great place in central Varese, with excellent service every time we’ve stayed. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious by European standards.

We felt at home thanks to the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. I’m glad we chose this place: everything we ordered was delicious and just right, especially for the homely local restaurant experience we wanted. There were two of us, and our two teenage sons at home were jealous. We’ll definitely return with them. Thank you!

The hotel is in a charming antique mansion, and my room was clean. Staff were all very nice, and the location is central, about a 15-minute walk from a train station. My room faced the main road, though, so traffic and the bars opposite made it quite noisy overnight.

Breakfast starts at 7 am, and both the food and setting were great. You do have to boil the eggs yourself. The hotel entrance isn’t obvious, but the restaurant staff are helpful if you ask. We picked this hotel because it’s conveniently close to the city center and has a restaurant on site. There are lively shops just outside, so you can spend time wandering around.
