The rooms at Villa Liz were spotless, nicely decorated and so comfortable. It’s a peaceful place with loads of charm and character, a real hidden gem. We’d love to come back. If you want a relaxing, authentic stay, this is the place.

I stayed five nights at the "Villa Liz" Bed and Breakfast in Varese and found it wonderfully quiet, with greenery all around. Marina, the owner, was very kind. She was happy to suggest nearby places to visit, like Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta and Sacro Monte, and to hear what guests needed. My room was clean and tidy when I arrived, and it was carefully straightened up each day. The shared bathroom was just as clean. A very peaceful place, and I have a very favorable impression of it.

Marina is what made my stay at Villa Liz unforgettable. She’s such a warm, kind, friendly and empathetic person that she really makes you feel like family, and you end up wanting to sit and chat with her for hours. The house itself is welcoming, surrounded by a lovely garden, and has everything you need: Wi-Fi, a bathroom right next to the bedroom, and a great breakfast. It felt like coming home. I hope to be back soon!
