The room was spacious, nice, and clean, and the garden was lovely with convenient parking. The secure gate also made the place feel reassuringly safe. But after our eight-hour drive, finding nobody at reception was frustrating. We called the number from booking.com several times and emailed, then waited around 20 minutes before someone called back to say he was coming. It took another 10 minutes. We’d booked that same day while on a long road trip and arrived at 6:30 pm. The air conditioning control didn’t work properly, so the room was a bit warm. Sound insulation could be better too: we heard conversations next door and someone lingering in the hall in the morning. Breakfast was included. Nothing special, but enough to get the day and drive underway.

What a lovely find, high up on the hill with gorgeous views. It’s impeccably maintained, with quality finishes, and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was included and great. Tremendous value compared with what we’ve paid elsewhere in Italy.

The cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. It’s super modern, with a lovely, big bathroom.
