Casa Purgatorio has been a favorite of mine for years, and I’ve been happy to come back again and again. With its historic building, untouched natural surroundings, and the loving care Alma and Uwe put into the place, it’s easy to unwind and forget everyday life. It’s especially well suited to groups, seminars, workshops, and similar events.

Alma and Uwe were attentive hosts, and the meal they served us was both delicious and varied. The rooms are simply furnished but cared for with love, just right for a house from the 16th century. It’s an idyllic spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend it!

The old country house has a charm all its own, and it’s a wonderful place for groups. From the house, you can see Poppi, the castle, and the surrounding hills. There’s also a lake right beside it, about a minute away, that’s perfect for swimming. Alma and Uwe do everything they can to make guests comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a dream vacation at this lovely spot in nature. The old farmhouse is beautifully renovated and can host individuals or groups. There’s a seminar, dance, and music room, a shared kitchen, a roomy garden, and a private pond. The couple who run it are very friendly.

It’s a distinctive, welcoming home among nature and ancient stonework, tastefully decorated and carefully maintained. The home-style cooking is a real treat. It’s always a pleasure to see Alma, Uwe, and Pancho again each year!
