There’s plenty nearby, including great restaurants, bars, cafés, all kinds of shops, and a supermarket on the same street. The metro is close too. The city center and Central station are each about a 40-minute walk away. The building itself is nice and quiet, but you can hear almost everything the next-door neighbor says. The room is okay for a young couple. The ceiling is too low on one side of the bed and above the bathtub, so you have to bend to avoid hitting it.

The apartment is lovely and very quiet, though it has a sloping ceiling. It’s in a great spot in the heart of one of Milan’s busiest areas, near the train station, Porta Venezia Park, Corso Buenos Aires, the Metro, and lots of ethnic restaurants. Recommended. It can get a bit cold in winter, perhaps because it’s in the attic.

Elver, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful, and that alone made the stay pleasant. The room was nice and had what we needed for a night, including a new bathroom. The location is very central.
