The tavern was spotless, smelled lovely, and had clearly been cared for down to every little detail. Leaving was so hard that we nearly cried saying goodbye to Raffaele and Sonia. They've become so important to us, always ready to help whenever we needed anything. We had a vacation we'll never forget. Until next time, kisses to sweet Celeste and everyone else, and to you too, Sara and Nicola 🥰

I made my booking a month and a half ahead of time. About a month later, I contacted the owner, Raffaele, because work meant I needed to shorten my stay by one day. He first said that was fine, but the next day told me another booking had come in for my room and he'd given it to someone else. That same day I saw the listing back on Airbnb and booked it again, at a higher price than my original reservation. Then Mr. Raffaele canceled that booking too, without warning or a reason. Later I found the listing on Airbnb once more, again with a higher price. When I called to ask what was going on, I was told that for him, this is BUSINESS. In my view, Raffaele is a scammer, dishonest, and unethical. Stay away from him and his properties. Hotel policies like these are ruining Salento!

The beds were filthy, with hair and vomit on them 🤮. Horrible place, and the owner was completely unwelcoming.
