We had no regrets booking here. The location is the most convenient part, and although it’s a kind of self-check-in stay, everything was explained really clearly. There aren’t extra services like breakfast, which suited my wife and me since we prefer to explore in the mornings. Just book and go to Venice.

It matched what was advertised and met our expectations. The rooms are unusual and have what you need, including a small fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom is small but works fine for us. There’s no coffee or breakfast. The location is nice for walking around Venice and easy to reach from the train station.

We spent our honeymoon at Casa Alla Fenice and would happily return. The rates were reasonable, and it’s tucked into the busy San Marco area in an ideal spot. The building and room were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and it’s clear the hotel is well looked after. Staff were kind and went out of their way to help us when Air France lost my wife’s luggage. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is the best part. If you’ll be out exploring and only need the hotel for sleeping, it’s a good fit. We had a single room with just enough room for two suitcases. It was clean and had a private bathroom, closet, towels, a tea pot, and mini fridge; the bed was comfortable enough. I gave it three stars because a Covid-19 situation threatened our trip, and the hotel staff showed no empathy or flexibility. Customer service gets zero from me.
