Bed & Breakfast Venezia

The neighborhood is beautiful and really quiet, about 30minutes from the center, with lovely views along the walk in. Roberto was a wonderful host. Our room was warm, cozy, and very nice, and when we arrived late he made getting in easy. Thank you, Roberto 👍🏻

We found Venice best enjoyed on foot, wandering its canals and little lanes, but the ferry is there if you'd rather not walk. Sant’Elena wharf is just a 2-minute walk from BBVenezia, and the main Venice Biennale gate is 7 minutes away. The Bridge of Sighs takes 28 minutes on foot, and St Marks Square 31. We came by train and took the grand canal ferry route on arrival; there are plenty of ways to get there. With the wharf so close, we bought a 3 day pass and visited Burano & Murano. Roberto gave us a warm welcome and kept in touch throughout our stay with sightseeing suggestions and tips. He was genuinely attentive to our well-being. The accommodation was comfortable and well located, breakfast was generous, and the coffee machine was first class. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend BBVenezia to friends and family. You won't regret staying here.

We loved Roberto's B&B. The room was spacious and comfortable, and everything was very clean. It faces the sea and a park, which is rare in Venice. The 20-minute walk into the center keeps you clear of the crowds and noise. Roberto was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The room worked especially well for our family of three adults: it had a bedroom, a living room, and, most usefully, 2 full washrooms. And Roberto is such a gentleman, I can't say enough about him. We hope to come back. It's in Castello, about a 20-minute walk from the center, so you're close but not right in the middle of everything. S. Elena water taxi stop is a 2-minute walk away. There's a restaurant 2 seconds away for a morning coffee or Spritz, and dinner places all around. It's lovely for a slow wander, and even better if you're traveling with dogs. I could go on and on.
