Ca Barba Bed and Breakfast

The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was easy to get to many landmarks. Since this is a B&B, light sleepers might want earplugs just in case. We stayed in room 201 for the first part of our honeymoon. Alessandro was quick to respond, walked us through the sights in about 15 minutes, and lent us books and a map. Every morning, croissants and fruit were left at our door, and the fridge in the main area had fresh juice, milk, and yogurt. Following Alessandro’s tips made our visit especially memorable. We’ll recommend Ca’ Barbara to friends and family.

We found the B&B in a quiet part of town, with clean rooms, a modern bathroom, and air conditioning that worked well. Google Maps came in handy for navigating Venice’s maze of streets and names I couldn’t remember. We stayed two nights. The host communicated well and was quick to respond. He met us at the water Bus stop to help us find the entrance and shared local advice. Croissants were delivered each morning. I recommend this place, you’ll love it.

Room n101 was just right, and we could only hear a little talking and footsteps from upstairs. The B&B is in a peaceful area, but still so close and convenient for getting around. Our host was helpful and quick to reply, lent us books about Venice, and left us a lovely breakfast basket each morning. I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to come back.

At the end of each day, we’d come back to a cleaned room, a made bed, and a breakfast basket topped up with anything that had run out. Alessandro also met us at the Vaporetto Station and showed us how to reach the accommodation. He gave us a short introduction to Venice and useful tips that helped us enjoy the city. The B&B is fairly central. We took the Vaporetto from Rialto Merkato to get around, and many places were walkable. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.
