Ca' Cappellis

The photos give a completely misleading impression of the room. It was impossible to manage with luggage: after climbing three flights, we had another three spiral staircases to deal with. Only three photos on the website and booking sites show the actual room, and those are the worst ones, you can spot them. We couldn’t stay there, and they took our money.

Cecilia is what makes a stay here so special. She’s warm, attentive, and ready to help with bookings or even the smallest requests. She made us feel like welcome friends, and the quality and charm came through in every part of our stay. The breakfast trolley is put together with the hostess each morning and brought right to the room. The mini-suites are carefully furnished, and the 800-year-old palazzo has real character and beauty. We’ve stayed at Ca’ Cappellis before and will certainly return. It feels like a home in Venice, somewhere you want to come back to.

Cecilia greeted us at the property and was a gracious, professional hostess. She showed us to our room and offered recommendations whenever we asked. The room was beautiful and well cared for, and the coffee and biscuits were a nice extra. The location couldn’t have been better either. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this hotel.

Our host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were immaculate and had a real Venice feel, and we had a great view over the canal. The location is perfect, and we had an amazing stay. There are some stairs to reach the room, so it may not suit anyone with limited mobility or a lot of luggage.
