After a full day out, we really liked being in a nicely renovated apartment in a local neighborhood, about ten minutes from the tourist crowds. There are plenty of local cafes and restaurants nearby, and the ferry stop is just a minute away, making it easy to get around Venice.

Luca, the owner, really knows his business. He can point you to bars, pizzerias, addresses, places worth visiting and places to skip. The apartment was spotless, and I appreciated the coffee they had for us 👍

After three days in Florence, coming back to Ca del Mar felt like coming home. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted warmly. The atmosphere was really friendly.

A cute spot on the quieter side of Venice. Be careful with baggage handlers who charge ridiculous fees. They take the long route, even though it’s only two blocks!
