Ca' Riza

Breakfast felt personal and local: we could order as much as we wanted from the menu, and it was made fresh, with some items homemade. The whole old building had a sweet traditional feel, from the corridors to the breakfast room. Our room was cosy, clean, and charmingly decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We could get here from the train station with our suitcases over just two bridges, then flat pavement, and the hotel sits away from the tourist-trap areas while still being close to the station. We stayed three nights in Venice and really liked the friendly staff, lovely rooms, and delicious homemade breakfast each morning. The rooms do let through a lot of sound from the hall and other rooms, so keep that in mind. It didn’t cause us a major problem, though. A charming hotel we’d recommend.

The family running the hotel made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make the stay lovely. Our room was clean, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. We have no complaints and would highly recommend this charming hotel in a great location.

I stayed here on my own and thought it was a great choice for solo travel. The room was clean, with a separate bathroom, and the whole place smelled fresh and clean. The service was absolutely top-notch. I’m sure you’d love it!
