I spent a couple of days in this private apartment and would happily stay again. Alex made me feel welcome, shared lots of useful information about the area, and we had a great conversation. The apartment was spotless and nicely decorated, with a quiet, spacious room and a very comfortable bed. Rialto Bridge is very close, and the grand Canal is only a couple of minutes away on foot.

The room was spacious and had everything I needed. When I arrived, Alex gave me a towel and some chocolate. Having keys for my room, the front door, and the building door helped me feel safe and secure. Everything is within walking distance, yet the place is far enough away to be really quiet. Perfect for a weekend.

AVOID. My flight was delayed and I arrived late, and the owner Alex was aggressive and abusive toward me. He shouted at me over the phone continuously for 20 minutes and made me cry. At 1am, alone, I was too scared to meet an angry man in the dark, so I had to find other accommodation in venice. He blocked me and refused any refund. DO NOT BOOK HERE, especially if you're a solo female traveller.

We had a really nice stay. It's close to San Marco square and the waterbus to the airport. The bathroom is shared, and the kitchen facilities are limited, though there is a small fridge. The kitchen is shared with other guests too.

The beds and spacious rooms made a great impression, and the interior was lovely. Alex was really accommodating. Just note there’s no doorbell, so you’ll need to call Alex when you arrive.
