This beautiful, authentic Venetian locanda sits in a charming, peaceful neighborhood near the train and bus stations, making it an easy base for exploring Venice. We didn’t try breakfast, though they offer sweet and savoury options. Inside, it was very quiet and cool, and the sleeping area and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The location works well if you arrive by water taxi or train, since it’s near both the main station and the Guglie stop. Getting in felt a little unusual: you need a code, and the automatic door is very slow. Still, the nice side alley added to the quaint atmosphere.
