If you're trying to keep costs down for a couple of nights in expensive Venice and don't expect much, you might consider this place. It's peaceful, the shared bathrooms were okay, and San Marco is a 10-minute walk away. Otherwise, avoid it. I don't understand why it's called a bed and breakfast when it only provides beds. It felt like a hostel. On arrival I paid someone cash in advance for the key, but got no receipt or payment confirmation. I didn't see any staff for the next five days, which worried me. The beds were very uncomfortable, the bed linen had disgusting yellow stains, the towels smelled bad, and the WiFi signal was very poor.

If all you need is somewhere to sleep and personal comfort or convenience doesn't matter to you, this might work. Otherwise, find somewhere else. Google should call it a hostel, not a B&B. There's barely any heat, no kitchen equipment or sink, a smelly fridge, and no breakfast. There are only two bathrooms for the whole place. I gave it two stars instead of one because it did seem pretty clean.

You're right in central old Venice, close to the main sights, which is handy for a few nights in an expensive city. The accommodation itself is basic, though. Finding the entrance is really difficult, especially with Venice's unusual numbering system. Facilities are shared and there was basically no staff around to deal with concerns. In the evening, the restaurant also uses the pavement at the entrance.

The map pin is off. Go through the restaurant on the canal just east of Hotel Antico Doge, then use the large door at the end. The place was nice and clean, with no bunk beds. Each person gets a large closet that locks, and there's a washing machine, though no dryer. They take cash only, but there's an ATM nearby. I'd stay again.

The location was prime, but the WiFi was so unreliable that we had to sit in a corner of our room to get a signal. Other people had to stand in the halls. Our double room's bed was a very uncomfortable pull-out couch. At least we were only there for two nights. For context, I stayed back in July 2017, and I'm late writing this review.
