We had a roomy, comfortable large bed and a good-sized toilet with a separate shower. The cleaner came by every day. There's a discount supermarket nearby, Prix, and cafes by the apartment entrance, next to Osteria Bakan.

There are places to eat on the same block, and it's an easy, pleasant walk to the usual tourist sights. The room was a decent size, with a small built-in kitchenette if you want to make your own meals. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, on a street that's quiet enough.

It's closer to the bus station than to San Marco, which does make for a quieter stay. There are a few small restaurants downstairs, though their customers can get pretty loud at night. For the room, I didn't think the price matched the quality.

The owner seemed very nice, and the housekeeper was friendly and helpful. The location is a short walk from the city center, though the restaurant and loud bar right below make it noisy. It's near the university and away from the more touristy areas, but drunk people were screaming outside all night. The air conditioner looked like it was from the 80s and was noisy too, though still better than the shouting. I chose this place after reading good TripAdvisor reviews, then realized those were for a completely different place with a similar name. InLaguna is a common name in Venice, so check the address. This one is Dorsoduro 2314. We were promised a queen bed but got two very uncomfortable singles pushed together. The shower stall was tiny, a little over 2 feet by 2 feet, and full of mold. Wi-Fi was practically unusable. I measured it at 0.38 Mbps, barely enough for email. There's no lobby, so we paid somewhere else to store our bags securely. They offered to let us leave them in the hallway, which didn't seem workable. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the price. There are better options in Venice.
