Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli

The rooms were clean and the amenities worked well, and the hotel is close to famous landmarks. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. One woman even gave us tips on the main things to do in Venice. It was a nice bonus that some staff speak French. Definitely worth it!

The dining room has a fantastic view over the Grand Canal, and the hotel is close to Rialto bridge. It’s an affordable option in a great location. The hotel is on the third floor, with an elevator to get there. Service was great, the wifi worked well, and the room was very clean with a comfy bed. The bathroom is small, toiletries are very basic, and I could hear people talking in another room. Still, I’d be happy to come back.

We had two rooms for our couple of nights at Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli Hotel. One had a stunning Grand Canal view, while the other was a spacious apartment. We weren’t sure what to expect since the hotel is on the third floor and can be tricky to find, but check-in was warm and professional. Breakfast was a special touch. We chose from a menu the night before, then got a meal prepared for us personally the next morning instead of a buffet. There were several tasty continental options. The hotel is right beside the Grand Canal, and most of Venice’s main attractions are a 15-20-minute walk away. There are also great places to eat just a minute down the street. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying again when we return to Venice.

The hotel itself is quite nice, but I’m still annoyed by the young receptionist, so I’m giving the lowest rating. Manager, please have her trained to treat customers with respect instead of looking down on them. Also, bring your own internet because the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. The walls seem paper-thin, too, and you can hear every word from the lobby or the next room.
