We stayed here for three days and two nights in Venice, and the historic building was beautiful. Inside it was very quiet, and our room was small but charming. The woman working there was so kind and attentive, and even contacted us before we arrived. Most of Venice's sights are an easy walk away. Santa Lucia station is a bit farther, though the water taxi makes getting there simple. We didn't know that when we arrived, so we walked 25 minutes with our suitcases. Don't make our mistake :) Highly recommended for a Venice visit.

A very nice welcome at the desk, and they brought us a full breakfast in the room. The hotel is excellent and very well placed for exploring San Marco and nearby amenities. We were also able to leave our luggage for free. We'll definitely come back.

The woman at the front desk was nice, but the rest of my stay was a letdown. I expected more given the location, yet the hotel felt run-down and as if work was still going on. My room was extremely small, and the closet was so awkward that reaching the hangers was difficult. The towel wasn't clean. I couldn't leave the window open because loud noise in the morning kept waking me up. It felt far from what had been advertised.

The canal view from my double room was lovely, and the decor, clean room, friendly staff and good price all made a great impression. The bed was the one small drawback. It felt like two twin mattresses pushed together, with a big ridge in the middle, and a foam topper could fix it. It didn't bother me much since I was sleeping alone. I really liked the vibe here.

It was lovely to hear the gondolas singing right below the window. The sound wasn't bothersome early in the morning or at night, just a perfect romantic moment to catch. The place is cute and gives you an Italian feel, with clean rooms and bathrooms. Its location makes the main sights easy to reach, and the professional, helpful staff let us leave our bags after checkout. Thanks for the experience!
