I understand the booking was non-refundable, and they may be entitled to enforce that policy. Still, after a death in my immediate family, I asked to cancel and explained the emergency, offering to provide official documentation. Management wouldn’t waive the fee or suggest any compromise. The complete lack of compassion at such a difficult time was deeply disappointing. If you want a place that shows care when guests face emergencies, I’d look elsewhere.

Getting around Venice was easy from this hotel, just a few steps from the city center. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were welcoming, courteous, and professional. There are quite a few stairs 😄, but they didn’t outweigh how much I enjoyed the stay. The atmosphere was charming, and I’d happily come back on another visit to Venice.

Great value, lovely staff, and a brilliant location. This little hotel was hard to fault, and the service was great too. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again 👌

The rooms are comfortable and the location is great, about 1 km from the ferry terminal. Just be ready to carry your luggage up to the third or fourth floor, since there’s no elevator.

The staff welcomed me warmly and were really nice. They offered breakfast for just €4, and it was the best. The room was spacious, with a nice bathroom, and the hotel is only a 4-5 minute walk from Ferrovia station. For such an affordable price, this was one of the best rooms I’ve ever booked. Highly recommend!
