The gardens and surroundings were lovely to look at, and the staff were fairly attentive. Service was really nice, though the food was only okay. The ride from Venice to Torcello takes a while, so we had hoped for a relaxing meal. Without the food, it would have been a very nice outing. The meal didn't quite match the elegance and wonderful experience this place is known for.

We arrived close to the end of lunch service, but they kindly seated us in the outdoor gardens. The food was delicious, the staff were wonderful and attentive, and the gardens and scenery were beautiful. We could have sat there for hours enjoying the view. Our hotel had recommended the restaurant, and the meal and whole experience were incredible. I'd highly recommend it, and can't say enough good things.

You could spend at least two hours here just savoring the setting. Large glass windows look out toward the cathedral and orchards, and the bucolic scenery is hard to do justice to. It feels like a tranquil world away from the bustle of Venice. The food was superb, especially the carpaccio and my fish soup. Everything was so good that we kept ordering.

We came for dinner a bit late, when the restaurant was about to close. The waiter was very polite and let us choose our main course quickly, with the option to order dessert and drinks later. The service and meal were exceptional, and the surroundings and ambience were just right. We were only there for a meal, with no special occasion, but loved every second and would recommend everyone visit. Many thanks, we'd love to come back! ❤️

The meal alone made this one of my favorite dining experiences. Everything felt carefully done, from the ingredients to the service. The hotel has a remarkable past too, with people like Hemingway, Queen Elizabeth II, and Chagall having stayed or eaten here. Definitely worth a visit.
