The service was good, especially from the reception crew, and we might come back. For the price, the hotel is reasonable: rates aren't too high and the location is great, right by the bus station and about 100m from the train station. It needs renovation, though perhaps we were in the older section. Some rooms, including those by the elevator, seem to have been updated.

The hosts and receptionist were very polite, and I liked the open, inviting dining area. The washroom was also comfortably warm. Breakfast was the weak point: there wasn't much choice, a few things seemed stale, and the coffee fell short of what I expected. Better breakfast would make the stay truly excellent.

The staff were friendly and let us leave our bags while we toured the islands. Getting to and from Venice was easy, with the train station about a four-minute walk away and tickets costing €1.50. You can also catch the No 15 bus from the station to the airport.

The staff were really helpful, especially Roberto and Stefano. Rooms are cleaned every day and are well equipped, and the bar prices are reasonable. It's a brilliant hotel for getting into Venice: the bus takes 15 minutes and stops just 50 metres from the door.

The air conditioning didn't work in the rooms, so we had to open the windows to cool them down. The mini fridge in room 222 was broken, and someone on our tour said the hair dryer in room 110 didn't work either. When we arrived at 7:20 PM, both elevators were working; by 5 AM, only one was.
