The staff were quick to help when I accidentally locked myself out one night, replying to WhatsApp within five minutes. Check-in was easy, and they sent all the details beforehand, including a video of the walk from Rialto station, the closest vaporetto stop. The keypad entry meant there was no key or card to carry around. They also held our luggage before check-in and after check-out, so we could start exploring straight away. The location is right in the center, about five minutes on foot from the main attractions and seven from tour agencies. The room was clean and spacious enough for Venice. I couldn't fault this hotel.

Getting there with our luggage was a little difficult, and climbing to the apartment's first floor was awkward because the stairs are so narrow. The location was good, but the room, toilet, and shower were all really small. There were also lots of stains on the shower floor.

For the price, I wouldn't stay here again, apart from the location. The room looked nothing like the pictures, and the carpet was covered in stains. There's no reception or service, just a corridor with rooms. Breakfast meant walking ten minutes to a bar they work with. We stayed two nights, and they didn't replace the shower gel or shampoo for the second day. Definitely not worth the money.

The location was great and there was good food nearby, but I had too many bad experiences to recommend staying here. The bathrooms and showers were uncomfortably small, the floors were stained, and the entrance smelled like their latest flood. The keyholes were so large people could see into our room, including neighbors across the three meters of sidewalk. I might have put up with those issues for the location, but staff also went through my luggage while I was out. Then they tried to charge us three times using fake bills with a mix of our names, two other addresses, and credit card numbers. It was strange and uncomfortable. Check your card statements after your stay.
