Ca' Alberto Apartments 2

The location was amazing, but the place itself was shocking. We arrived on a late flight and they tried to charge extra, even though there’s no reception and it wasn’t exactly an inconvenience. There was a cleaning fee, which we got refunded because the room was filthy. The bed was rock hard. The entrance was pitch black, and the light switch was hard to find. With no directions to the key card box, we spent about ten minutes trying to work out how to get in. The entrance was poorly furnished, with things looking as if they’d just been dumped around. Ants were everywhere, we got bitten, and had to push towels under the doors to keep them out of the bedroom. The shower door was broken, and there were squashed bugs all over the ceiling. It could be a really nice place if they looked after it, but it was disgusting. I emailed a complaint and was more or less brushed off because we hadn’t reported it to reception. There is no reception, so how were we supposed to do that?
