We were all bitten, and the experience was disgusting. Several months later, the bed bugs may still be there, so I’d take the other reviews warning about them seriously. After we sent the company a detailed complaint, we were moved to another apartment, but only for our last night.

There were bed bugs everywhere. Airbnb didn’t help us, and I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I strongly advise against booking “Laguna House,” at Via Aleardi 47, 8, Mestre. It’s infested with bedbugs, which were everywhere, even in the daytime, though especially at night. At first glance, the apartment didn’t look particularly clean. That’s especially concerning since a substantial cleaning service fee is charged during booking. I reported the bugs several times to the agency managing the property, but they didn’t address it, and I still haven’t received a direct apology. I saw many reviews describing the same disgusting experience. I was careless and ignored them when booking because I thought the agency had already handled pest control. But I can assure you the apartment is literally infested. Don’t book.

Our stay from July 29th to August 5th, 2019 was a disaster. The apartment listing promised a balcony, but there wasn't one, and the so-called city view was just buildings on the other side of the street. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and the neighborhood felt pretty rough. Travel at your own risk.
