The old Venetian style gives you a living room, dining area, and kitchen, and the place is well kept and clean. The bathroom is modern and clean too. Staff were helpful and accommodating, and having breakfast delivered every morning was really convenient. St. Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge are both less than a 10 minute walk away. If you want to experience Venetian charm, I definitely recommend this 4 star hotel.

On my second trip to Venice, I found the hotel well placed for getting to the best known historic sights. The staff were polite, the treats were lovely, and breakfast delivered to the room was handy.

Street noise was the main problem for us. It seemed amplified, and sleeping was difficult without earplugs or white noise. The internet was also down during our stay. Even so, the location is close to everything, the service was excellent, and the room was spacious. We got a bottle of Proseco when we arrived, a nice welcome after a long day of travel. Breakfast in the room was delicious, and the tub and shower had jets if you like that.

The view over the square was lovely, with a breeze coming through when we opened the window to watch people walk by. We also appreciated the room's kitchen, bowls, plates, and utensils, plus a 110V outlet in the bathroom for our 110V portable water boiler. The room was spotless, especially the bathroom, and larger than the other places we stayed in Rome and Florence for the same price. The hotel felt newer than many in Venice and was kept clean and up to date. We paid €420 for a deluxe double room with a double bed and a sofa bed. It wasn't waterfront, which made it more affordable than many hotels near a dock. For us, traveling with a baby, three pieces of luggage, and a stroller, the location was a huge plus: Giglio dock is about a minute away on foot, and we didn't have to cross a bridge with everything. Staff let us into our room at noon even though check-in was at 3pm, which was a relief because we were tired. They'd also left champagne and a fruit basket, and breakfast was included, which I hadn't realized when booking. The receptionists were friendly and very helpful, arranging a water taxi to the airport at a price as cheap as booking online. We enjoyed this hotel the most during our Italy trip, after staying in Rome and Florence, and I'd recommend it to family and friends.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and we were welcomed with drinks and food in our room. The hotel is easy to reach from Venice's main attractions, and having breakfast delivered to the room was very convenient. It felt like a safe haven during our visit, and we plan to stay again next time. 🫶
