Palazzo Preziosa

For three slim women on vacation, planning to spend the day sightseeing, there was plenty of room. The price felt right for what we got. A door divides the bedroom from the kitchen and sitting area: two single beds pushed together as a double, plus a single folding bed, with clean freshly ironed sheets. At the other end, the kitchen has a small table and three chairs, handy for meals, cards, or working on a laptop while someone sleeps. The couch is comfortable and converts into a proper sofa bed. The simple kitchen was clean and new, but the bathroom could use improvement. We slept peacefully in the quiet neighborhood, the heating worked well, and every window had a charming view. It's well located near the vaporetto, good restaurants, and major sights, while away from the noisy crowds. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Just be aware the pictures on Booking might not show the exact apartment you'll get!!!

We just left, and the place was nothing like the photos. The owners barely provided the basics. There wasn't even a duvet or blanket for the third person. They just said they'd bring one tomorrow, without apologizing. One person who had paid nearly €500 for two nights had to spend a night in the cold. There was a cigarette butt on the bedroom floor, and a bottle, a clothespin, and other stuff behind the sofa. Terrible. I wouldn't book it again.

My detailed review is in the photo on Booking. I was disappointed by the cleanliness and won't return, even though I eventually got the cleaning fee back.

Mosquitoes showed up every night, and we had to buy insecticide to get any sleep. The heating worked really well and the location was good, but the cleanliness could have been better.
