The apartment itself was great, but the stay was a terrible experience. At check-in we were told a mirror in one bathroom was broken, so they had locked that bathroom. We asked if it could just be cleared up, but were told they would take care of it. They never did, so we lost use of their best bathroom for the whole stay. Their agent later agreed that a 20%-30% discount would be fair. Since leaving on Oct 28th, we’ve contacted their “concierge” several times and also tried to reach the owner through booking.com. It took two hours to speak to a person there, and they didn’t help. Now we’re being ignored. It’s a great place to stay if everything goes right, but you judge a business by how it handles problems. Palazzo Vendramin Costa gets zero marks for effort so far.

The apartment made our visit feel like a dream, especially since we were there for my boyfriend’s birthday. I’ve never stayed anywhere more stunning. The ceilings were six meters high, with beautiful balconies looking out over the canals, and everything was finished to a wonderful standard. If you get the chance, book it. It made the trip so special.

We were in the penthouse on the third floor, and the city views from the windows were beautiful. Right outside there’s water and a bridge, a lovely spot for photos. My family and I had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone staying in Venice. If I’m back in the city, I’ll stay here again. The place looked just like the online pictures and was super clean, with everything seeming brand new. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, dishes, and top-notch appliances, so you could make meals and store food if you want to save money on vacation. There was also a washer, iron, and ironing board, which came in handy during our two-week trip around Italy.
