We were so glad we picked this hotel for our one night in Venice in Feb 2024, after our US flight was canceled. It helped make our 30-hour visit a great one. We stored most of our ski gear and luggage in an airport overnight locker, then took the alliguna water taxi straight into the city. Depending on the route, the blue or orange line and local vaperrettos stop at Accademia or Ca’ Rezzenoco along the Grand Canal. From the Accademia Bridge, it’s a 10-15 minute walk to St Marks Square. We walked almost everywhere, and the hotel’s quieter, more genuine-feeling location suited us better than the crowded hotels by the square. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was amazing. I only wish we’d had longer to relax at the hotel.

The hotel has a lot of Venetian character, with lovely gardens, a marble staircase, and antique furnishings. Even the modern bathrooms in the rooms fit the style. Our staff interactions were friendly, and the included breakfast was excellent, with everything we could want and more. It’s also close to the Accademia vaporetta stop, set one row back from the very busy Grand Canal. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Our room looked out over the canal, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were helpful throughout our lovely stay at Pensione Accademia hotel. It’s handy for the Accademia vaporetto stop, and we could easily walk to lots of great restaurants.

We slept comfortably in clean rooms with good beds, and the hotel team were attentive and helpful. The Accademia area feels central while staying clear of the noisy crowds, and the Vaporetto stop is close by. A great hotel in Venice, one I’d recommend.

We had a great canal view from our cozy, well-equipped room, though the bed may feel a little firm to some and the bathroom was on the small side. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and classic furnishings and marble details inside. Staff made us feel welcome right away and were warm and attentive. It’s a short walk from the vaporetti station, yet just off the main routes, so we got a bit of quiet and privacy. For exploring Venice, the location worked well, and the hotel had the comforts we wanted when we came back at the end of the day.
