Review of the restaurant: the food was awful and overpriced, and I would avoid it if you want to keep your liver. I was served spoiled food, a strange "salad," and homemade chips cooked in rancid oil. I can't say how many times the oil had been used, but it seemed to have been boiling over 100 times. They charged 3 euro per person for putting a tablecloth on the table. Every dish was bad, and the whole thing felt like a total scam. This place should be checked by Italian health authorities and reported on social media. 🤦🏻♀️

They were pleasant enough until we ordered food, then the staff became incredibly rude. When we asked for one water, they tried to bill us for two. After we asked them to remove the extra one, a tall waiter with glasses snatched the bottle from our hand and threw it back at us. The food was overpriced and commercial. Terrible place, with rude and aggressive staff. Worst place we've eaten in Venice.

We were charged 170 Euro for three people for food of such poor quality, and then they asked for a tip, which was a joke. The oil used for cooking smelled and tasted dreadful. I was puking all night. Worst experience ever. Run from this restaurant.

Worst food ever. The meal quality doesn't justify the price, and even a pizza from the metro would be better. This restaurant represents Venice and Italy very badly. The worst restaurant in Venice.

We came on the recommendation of our Gondola driver. The food was great, and so was the house wine. The servers seemed a little cold at first, but warmed up by the end. Maybe they're used to obnoxious American tourists, but we were on our best behavior! This review is of the restaurant, not the hotel.
