Residence Corte Grimani

Vanessa at the front desk made our stay extra special. She was a warm, friendly face every day, helped us figure out transportation and the city, and gave us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. She felt like the fun Italian aunt everyone loves, and my girls adored her. Residence Corte Grimani was in a perfect spot, close to everything. The rooms were large and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was our first visit to Venice, and the city really was magical.

Vanessa, the manager, made our weekend special. She gave us great recommendations, shared important things to know about Venice, and made us feel at ease. She’s a true Venetian, so listen to her advice. We’ll definitely come back. The room was spacious, warm, and comfortable, with a large bed. The place is very central, quiet, and within walking distance of everything. I can’t recommend it enough.

We visited Paris, Venice, Florence, and Rome, and liked all four hotels we booked, but Corte Grimani was our favorite. If we come back to Venice, we won’t consider staying anywhere else. The manager, Vanessa, was the best part of the hotel. She was warm, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile. She gave us excellent restaurant and sightseeing recommendations and was efficient as well as kind. We were grateful to her, and the family who owns the place is lucky to have her. We found the hotel online from the U.S. while looking for a reasonably priced place with old-world charm and a good location. It exceeded what we’d hoped for. Our unit had a separate living room, bathroom, and bedroom, with plenty of space. Everything worked, including the kitchen amenities. The bedroom was large, the bed was terrific, and the architecture was gorgeous. I’d love to have the wooden ceiling beams at home. It was quiet, though we could hear some rowdy tourists outside, as well as church bells, which I miss from living in Europe. I’ve been writing Google reviews for years, positive and negative, and I don’t think my wife and I have had a better experience. Thank you, Vanessa, and thank you, Venice.

Vanessa made getting around Venice much easier. She arranged a water taxi to the hotel door and even met us at the boat during high tide to show us the way. Since Venice can feel like a labyrinth if you’ve never been, her help remembering landmarks meant we could find our way back. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality, Vanessa. We loved it here and will definitely return. Residenza Corte Grimani was a real treasure, just steps from St. Mark’s Square. It was beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious. Our family of four, including two teenagers, had plenty of room. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the rooms were a cozy retreat after busy days, staying warm despite the chilly weather outside. We also appreciated the full kitchen and the washer, which was available for a fee.
