San Marco Luxury - Bellevue Luxury Rooms

The room was clean, and they brought fresh towels every day. The hotel was well maintained and fit in nicely with the surrounding Venetian architecture. The disappointing part was that the WiFi in our room didn't work during our entire three-night stay.

We were on our honeymoon and loved both the hotel and the city. The location is perfect, close to lots of attractions, and easy to reach by water bus after landing at the airport. It cost 10 euros per person. There isn't an elevator, which didn't bother us, though some travelers may need one. The staff were friendly and informative. The beds were comfortable, and the firm feel suited me. We'd visited other Italian cities on this trip, and these were the best quality pillows we found. Italian pillows are often poor, so I'd brought one of my own just in case, but didn't need it here. We'll definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends.

The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, and the view was amazing. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were very professional and friendly. The location is just about perfect. Breakfast had a tasty selection, though it's served at a sister hotel a couple of minutes away, perhaps because I visited in winter. I would have liked a kettle for a hot drink in the morning or evening, but it's a small thing. In summer, people on San Marco square late at night might make it a little noisy, though I doubt it'd bother anyone except a very light sleeper. This place is a gem, and I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Venice.

The location was great, and the staff were very accommodating. We had a family suite with a hotplate, but nothing else useful for cooking: no coffee maker or pots and pans. There were only two glass cups, and room service didn't clean them. There was no clothes iron or board either. I can't remember the cost of breakfast, but it definitely wasn't worth it. The beds and pillows were the most uncomfortable I've ever encountered. We also went on the complimentary Murano glass tour. The boat was nice and the glass-blowing demonstration was cool, but the gift shop felt like a scam. Don't buy anything there. The same items are available elsewhere on the island for one-tenth the price.
