Sophisticated Apartment in Venice near Hostaria Vite Rossa

I visited alone for lunch and ordered lobster pasta for €24 with a glass of sparkling wine. The flavor was acceptable, though quite salty, but there was hardly any lobster to eat. The dish came with half a lobster and two claws; the claw meat was dry and old tasting, and the body was nearly empty apart from a tiny bit near the tail. There weren't any chunks of lobster in the pasta either, which was extremely disappointing for this dish. I asked the server, a middle-aged woman with glasses, about it politely. She said it was “normal,” claiming the meat was already in the pasta and that the lobster had arrived that morning, so it must be fresh. She didn't check the dish or try to address my concern, and the reply felt dismissive. Later, when the restaurant was full, with about a dozen tables, I noticed that every other table had a bottle of tap water placed there as soon as guests sat down. Mine was the only table without one. I work in European hospitality and know the difference between complimentary tap water and bottled water that costs extra. I had only the sparkling wine I'd ordered. Before leaving, I asked another solo diner nearby, and he confirmed that the water was free and provided automatically. I was also the only Asian customer, and the only one who didn't receive that same service. The server was warm and chatty with other customers, who were mostly white, but seemed to avoid my table after our conversation. I can't say whether it was intentional, but as a customer it felt discriminatory. The poor lobster and unequal service left a very bad impression. I wouldn't recommend this place.
