Venice’s damp and mold make these buildings hard to maintain, so I understood that there was a little black mold on the shower hose. Everything else was fine. The room was spacious and very nice once we got inside, using the code at the front door. The wooden shutters kept outside noise down, and the air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable enough. I didn’t try the fridge or hairdryer, and I enjoyed the stay and Venice’s distinctive character. Getting checked in was confusing at first. It’s mostly self check-in, and everything is handled through WhatsApp, but it was fine once we had the right details. The location is excellent.

We stayed four days with a friend. We arrived late, but after we’d let the staff know, they told us what to do. The room was okay. It can take about 30 minutes to walk to the center, which is quite far. At checkout the staff were nice and let me leave my bags there to pick up later, so I didn’t have to carry them around.

The location is really good. The bathroom was renovated and clean, and the hotel itself was okay. We didn’t see any staff during our stay, and the towels weren’t changed. With the windows shut, you can hear everything.
