There was no heat. My phone charger only worked in the outlet if I pressed and held it firmly at an exact 90-degree angle. The place is quite close to Mestre station, though.

I definitely hated this place. You could manage one night near the station if you had to, but it wasn’t good overall. Check-in closes at 7, and I didn’t know that. If the owner of the place next door hadn’t helped, I’d have been stranded in the street. They also only take cash for the city tax, and there’s no ATM within a 10-minute walk. It’s a big, empty room with a very old bed. It didn’t seem clean, and I think it’s overpriced for what it is. The bathroom is shared, the walls are thin, and the area didn’t feel safe to walk around at night. Still, if all you need is one night, it’s fine.

The room was decent for what it cost, but two things really need fixing. The check-in person isn’t at the hotel, so you have to call and wait 15-20 minutes after you arrive. Guests should be told in advance so they can call ahead and arrange a time. The tourist tax shown during booking was also wrong. The amount they asked for was €4, not €1.5, and they required cash when we arrived. It left me feeling scammed, especially since there was no other way to pay. The website needs to be updated. I’m still not sure whether the person who checked me in scammed me.

We left with our bags because it was too cold to stay. The bed was dirty, and the sheets smelled horrible. I really wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your money and find somewhere else.
